2020 HINDSIGHTS

Jeffrey Lynch

November 2020 978-0-578-24216-3

PANDEMIC POETRY Simple verse from complex times

2020 Hindsights is first work by Jeffrey Lynch. Jeff had previously never written a poem, except for some crude limericks made up walking home from grade school.  In May 2020, out of the blue, he wrote the poem "What My Kids Call the 'Rona". He texted it to friends and family. Their positive responses fueled his creative juices. He wrote 22 more poems and decided to self publish them in a book. His poetry is easy to read, with lots of rhyme.

Jeff carved the pumpkins on the cover and loves carving pumpkins each fall.

Each book comes with a matching bookmark.

Jeff is a retired glove salesman living in Waxahachie, Texas. He enjoys hockey, golf and struggling thru New York Times Crossword puzzles with his wife.

EXCERPT:

Statues are really books unread,

they show us all the words unsaid.

No longer a questionable mystery,

they give us a beautiful bronze history.
